As Harold announces the new scoring system he says woman are ten points, more than men in all age brackets. After going through teens and toddlers he says elderly people are 100 points, no matter what sex they are.
During their last stop at Albuquerque, near the last scene before resuming the race, while talking to Frankenstein, Annie slips off a stocking. Then, after the camera goes from Frankenstein back to her, she is again taking off the same stocking.
When the cars are lining up at the start of the race while being introduced by the announcer, the first car pulls in, and then the Nazi car pulls in to the left of the first one. Then, the next three racers are filmed pulling into the same slot to the immediate left of the Nazi car.
In the theatrical version and all video versions up to the "Roger Corman's Classics" release, there were some errors that have since been corrected. Traffic has been cropped from the shot when Machine Gun Joe runs over the man hanging the "Frankenstein" banner on the street (which previously made nonsense of the earlier newscast of "citizens staying off the streets"). A crewmember previously visible when Joe runs down the fisherman has also been cropped out.
After Frankenstein has reaches the finish line, a shot clearly shows him using his right hand to lift himself up and out the car, despite his navigator having removed it just a couple minutes before. This is because this is actually the navigator posing as Frankenstein. This shot is a clue to Frankenstein's final ruse, and thus not an error.
