Quotes

Harry Caray: Hey, if you were a hot dog, and you were starving, would you eat yourself?
Colin Quinn: I don't know.
Harry Caray: Don't jerk me around, Norm, it's a simple question. A baby could answer it. If you were a hot dog, and you were starving, would you eat yourself?
Colin Quinn: I guess so.
Harry Caray: Oh, you made a wise choice, my friend.

Funny sometimes
27 July 2002 | by (Near You) – See all my reviews

Personally, I would take Lorne Michaels other sketch comedy production, The Kids in the Hall, over SNL any day. But I guess that's just me. SNL is funny sometimes but they go for the cheap jokes like imitating celebrities and politicians. Also, they wear their recurring characters to death. Whereas the KITH never imitated a celebrity or politician and always kept their jokes original (with the exception of the queen) and they only used their recurring characters sometimes, making sure they didn't overuse them. It's a shame that brilliant KITH went off the air, while other, less original sketch comedy shows like SNL and MADTV are still on.
