Excellent Vintage Summer Replacement series!
19 April 2009 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I adored this summer replacement series. They were a bright spot in the summer of 1975. The group was SO talented and amazing in their vocal performances. And funny. They seemed to be truly enjoying themselves and it was contagious. I'd never heard of them before my mother insisted we watch this. After watching every week that summer, we both became life-long fans. I was really sorry when Laurel Masse had to drop out of the group due to a car accident. She added a lot of range and class to the group. But her replacement is good, too. If you have a chance to see this variety series, take it - you won't be sorry.

Television could use a few more uplifting shows like this these days.
