Erotic Intrigue to the Centre of the Mediterranean Sea

Taking advantage of the privileged relationship existing between France and the oil-producing Arab countries, a French delegation goes to Malta. It is composed of high-ranking military officials (secret agents more or less), a representative from the Massaut Aircraft Corp. (Whose pursuit planes have been sold in large numbers to Arab countries) and hydrocarbon specialists, to negotiate the greatest contract of the century with the Emirate of Bahrein. Western Europe is to be supplied with oil for three years in exchange for weapons of all kinds (planes, tanks, rockets and various other devices). The attractive prices afforded by this contract would be France a definitive advantage of cheaper energy in a more competitive industry setup in Western Europe.

Obviously, no other European country can allow this contract to go through. The CIA, the NKVD, the M15, The SISMI and even West Germany hire "resident agents" in Malta to do all they can to prevent this agreement from being signed. First documents, and then men, disappear, kidnapped by one group and then rescued by another. Even the Arab delegation proves to be vulnerable. During an orgy with a lot of cabaret dancers, the emir himself disappears, kidnapped by Guio, an agent from Italian ENI.

Things finally go back to normal. The other governments, by using pressure (or financial blackmail), menage to get France to share her advantage with them. Everyone is satisfied and the negotiations end with a big dinner. Everyone is ecstatic. The emir flirts with the obliging wife of an important political official. The Emir son ogles the young waiters whose white jackets show off heir muscular bodies. Suddenly, they learn the news: the colonels have taken advantage to overthrow his government and seize power. They must all begin from the beginning again.

The movie was a Franco-Italian co-production (Du Cesne - Flaminia) (Star - Indipendenti Regionali). In Italy was theatrically released two year later and banned to the minors.
