Now we're out in the woods in the days of fur trappers who travel by canoe. These particular two are named "Jacques and Jules," obviously Frenchmen. At one end of the lake they get out and set up their traps. They are hoping to get anything from bears to beavers to foxes to even squirrels.
The Pink Panther is out in the woods, too, just for a nice picnic. While he begins dining, his tail gets caught in one of the traps. He frees it, but now has thoughts of transforming into "The Pink Avenger" against those two trappers
Pretending to be a pied piper, he leads a group of snapping turtles to the log cabin of the fur traders, and the revenge is on! I liked the comic-book type translations of the Frenchmen, Armand, their bloodhound, and the nice colors in this animated short.
Warning: this is another PP cartoon with the ludicrous laugh track, telling us when to laugh. (Yeah, right.) Since there weren't many sound effects in here, you could play this with the sound off and not be annoyed by those idiots laughing at every little thing.
