Well worth seeing.

Just made available on the DVD release of "Stork", this short film directed by Tim Burstall was probably made in 1970 - '71, not 1974 as stated above (although i could be wrong). It just seems pre-Stork and Alvin.

Shot in B&W, it goes for about 15 mins and stars Bruce Spence, Graeme Blundell and Al Finney. Shot at Tim Burstall's house, the premise of the film is simple and effective. The making of featurette also on the DVD gives a great insight into its development. Well worth a look for Aussie film buffs.

The DVD of "Stork" is only available in the excellent 8 DVD box set of Tim Burstall's work which i highly recommend to any and everyone.
