During the 1970s there were a ton of airline/airport movies and this low budget effort was probably the best of them. I have not seen it since a year after its original release, and have not noticed it either on VHS or DVD. I'll look around for it at Video Vault in Alexandria.
Since the plot line of such motion pix is formulaic, the color is in the details. A young desperado hijacks what appears to be the Playboy Boeing 707, because the rather un-masculine victim and his pussy posse are truly lame and loathsome. They get to play jackass as sport for their captors while a psycho sidekick scares the stuffing out of everybody. They land in some God-forsaken Texas town and have the sheriff deliver the suitcase full of cash up to the steps while wearing only cowboy boot, hat and boxer shorts. The desperado tells him to climb aboard. The old cop knows when it's time to party and gets in the action. The plane takes off without the rich young pansy.
Funny stuff!
