Erwin C. Dietrich
With Easter coming up,I started to search around for German Sex Comedy titles that I could give to a friend as an Easter present.Talking to a DVD seller,I found out that he had recently tracked down a rare Erwin C. Dietrich comedy, which led to me getting ready to witness the revealing of Elsie.
Dreaming of becoming a ballet dancer,Elsie's hopes are left in ruins, when she is booted out of the dance school, due to the head teacher feeling that Elsie does not have the right shape to be a dancer.Putting all the blame on her breasts,Elsie decides that she is going to show her dance teacher that she can succeed in the business world,by becoming a stripper & an erotic film star.
View on the film:
Basing the movie entirely around Elsie,writer/director Erwin C. Dietrich keeps the titles running time at a trim 70 minutes, which moves at an impressively quick pace, thanks to Dietrich making Elsie's attempts to enter the business world being one that is married with funny one-liners,and erotically-charged lesbian sex scenes.Entering the film with her limited ballet moves, Marianne Dupont (who would work with Dietrich on a number of other flicks)gives a very good performance as Elsie, thanks to Dupont showing Elsie's excitement over entering the stripper world,to be one that does not burn down Elsie's doubts over her fragile appearance,as Elsie reveals all.
