The basis of my argument is the truck which Pruett and Chandler drove. The
truck used in the in the both the movie and the series is a Kenworth W-900,
however, the W-99 used in the movie was equipped with a 48" sleeper
compartment and low-back bucket seats. That was a basic setup in big trucks
in those days.
The W-900 in the series sported a modular 64" sleeper with high-back seats in the cab as well as other luxuries. That represented what an ultra-luxury truck looked like in the mid 1970's.
Two trucker's "Sonny Pruitt and Will Chandler" Played by Claude Akins and Frank Converse. The truckers drove a Kenworth tractor trailer and encountered problems with a couple of other truck drivers known as Moose and I think Tiny. Rosevelt Greer played in this also. Outstanding series was spawned from this. But I think the real movie that was the spin off for Movin' On series was "In Tandem" which starred the same actors. Hopefully this is helpful and my memory isn't failing me.
