Movie posters are a surprisingly bountiful arena for uncovering the idiocy of the people who work in the movie industry. They’re occasionally full of mistakes, and sometimes they cynically sell movies on sex that have no right to be, but thanks to the advent of Photoshop, and the God-like power it affords people to change the most beautiful actors in the world as they see fit, we now have an even more plentiful well of stupidity.
Photoshop has lead to some major atrocities in posters, whether that’s the guy who edited the Hispanic out of Eva Longoria for supernatural romantic dross Over Her Dead Body, or the X-Men First Class debacle that proved no matter how much money your production has, you can still make Magneto and Professor Xavier appear to have giant grumpy-faced genitals…
To the artists involved, we salute you. You had one job, which you were probably paid for, »

The hardest part about choosing my favourite horror films of all time, is deciding what stays and what goes. I started with a list that featured over 200 titles, and I think it took me more time to pick and choose between them, than it did to actually sit down and write each capsule review. In order to hold on to my sanity, I decided to not include short films, documentaries, television mini-series and animated films. I also had to draw the line at some point in deciding if certain movies should be considered horror or not. In such cases where I was split down the middle in deciding, I let IMDb be the judge for me. And in some cases, I’ve included these titles as special mentions. Long story short, I can’t include every movie I like, and I have to draw the line somewhere. With that said, »
Whoops! With all the sexy and daring fashion moves that ladies like Miley and Selena Gomez take, there are bound to be a few malfunctions from time to time. But that doesn’t make them any less shocking!
Nip slips are sort of like agents in Hollywood — everyone has one. From the ladies like Nicki Minaj who seem to bring the wardrobe malfunctions upon themselves to the more innocent types like Tina Fey, nip slips are just a part of the business — pretty much unavoidable. But some are more shocking than others.
Those darn outfits — sometimes they just don’t stay put! Ask Tina and Selena Gomez — they know what we’re talking about. Tina incurred the wrath of the nip slip during one of the most public events of the year — the Emmys. After accepting an award on Sept. 22, Tina’s »

Ten years ago today, John Ritter passed away at the tragic age of 54 — and on September 11, no less. That memory will always sting. But most of our other memories of the actor fill us with great joy, and we're not alone in that sentiment. Here are eight reasons why we miss him: four by us and four shared with Vulture by those who knew him.1. Kaley Cuoco, who played his daughter on 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter: "My favorite memory of John was the table reading we had for 8 Simple Rules. I had just turned 16 and I walked in wearing a very tiny outfit. I was sitting at the table reading my script when John walked in the room. He walked straight over to me, pulled off his jacket, threw it over me and said, ‘Cover up! I'm not letting you leave dressed like that!’ »

Brandi, we were embarrassed for you when we saw these photos of you exposing yourself in the mother of all wardrobe malfunctions.
Brandi Glanville, I get it; you’ve had a rough week. Two nights after you reportedly had yet another unpleasant confrontation with your ex Eddie Cibrian and his wife LeAnn Rimes, an unnamed male friend was photographed carrying you out of a Hollywood restaurant in a drunken stupor July 9.
Brandi, what’s worse is that you exposed yourself in public when you were practically falling over as you left Dan Tana’s eatery in Hollywood, according to the UK’s Daily Mail. This was more than your average wardrobe malfunction. We all got an eyeful of your butt in a black lacy thong and your whole breast when your nude strapless dress somehow managed to come up and slip down. »

Here's a Planet Fury-approved selection of notable genre DVD releases for the months of February and March 2013.
The Blob (1958) Criterion Collection Blu-ray & DVD Available Now
This entertaining low-budget favorite gets some well-deserved respect from the folks at Criterion. A gelatinous creature from outer space begins to devour the inhabitants of a small town. Each time it consumes a new body, it grows bigger. A couple of teens (including the wooden Steve McQueen) attempt to warn the town and save the population from certain blech! Irvin S. Yeaworth Jr. directs the mayhem with a sure hand while Bart Sloane's great special effects still pack a punch. Followed by the bizarre comedy sequel, Son of Blob, in the early ’70s (directed by Larry Hagman!) and a great, underrated remake in 1988 by Chuck Russell.

Sheryl Crow was in the room when her ex-fiancé, Lance Armstrong, asked one of his teammates to lie about his elaborate doping cover-up, Celebuzz is reporting. The nine-time Grammy winner was named twice in affidavits submitted to the United States Anti-Dopin Association. The non-governmental agency was the first to reveal the seven-time Tour de France winner’s performance enchanting drug use. Armstrong’s former U.S. Postal Service teammate Frankie Andreu said the disgraced cyclist summoned him to a room in 2004. [This week's "Retro Active" pick is inspired by the Jessica Chastain-headlined scary- mother thriller Mama.]
Psychosis is inherited in Frightmare, as is a hunger for human flesh. Pete Walker's under-sung 1974 gem (also known as Cover Up) is a Hammer Horror-ish like- mother/like-daughter tale of madness and murder, detailing the strange case of Edmund (Rupert Davies) and Dorothy Yates (Sheila Keith), a couple who in 1957 London is sentenced by a judge to a mental hospital for six killings. The ruling is that they shall remain locked up until they're fit to re-enter society—which they supposedly are fifteen years later, thanks to a mental health system that appears to have absolutely no ability to differentiate sanity from insanity. Free to roam again, they hole up in a remote cottage, where they're regularly visited by grown daughter Jackie (Deborah Fairfax), who brings Dorothy strange parcels that leak on the table, and who covertly discusses with Edmund whether mother has caught onto the »
