The Wtf Friday Video of the Week: The Wtf Blanket

1 October 2010 1:12 AM, PDT | DreadCentral.com | See recent Dread Central news »

You have seen them in stores. You watched in horror as others bought them for their "loved" ones. You've mocked anyone that dares to wear one in front of you. Looking for a little Wtf to usher in the weekend's frightful activities? Don't worry, kids. We've got you covered. Or should we say "It" has you covered?

I speak of course of the damned wretched piece of fabric known as The Snuggie. Below you'll find a parody of the awful commercial that we've all seen countless times. Only this time it has a mighty spin of truthiness to it!

Dig on it below, and thanks to DC reader Gjw for sending this one in.

Have a suggestion for the Wtf Friday Video of the Week? Send it in by clicking on our name and mailing us below. If it makes us laugh ... or confuses us, we will run it!

Fango Flashback: “The Comeback”

26 September 2010 9:09 AM, PDT | Fangoria | See recent Fangoria news »

Provocative, grim, shocking and extremely anti-establishment in their outlook, British director Pete Walker’s “terror” films were always controversial—perhaps due to their frequent representation of an unsavory, seedy underbelly of a British society governed by convention and hypocrisy. With his previous movies, notably House Of Whipcord, Frightmare and House Of Mortal Sin (a.k.a. The Confessional), Walker had actively worked to subvert typically British institutions (such as class, family and the legal system) and outrage as many people as he possibly could by presenting cannibalistic pensioners, murderous priests and private prisons controlled by sadistic wardens.

Miley Cyrus Is At It Again! She Wears Two See-Through Tops In One Day!

16 September 2010 6:23 AM, PDT | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

It looks like Miley’s up to her old tricks again!

I guess it’s true what she says — Miley Cyrus really can’t be tamed! The 17-year-old was spotted Twice in Los Angeles on Sept. 15 wearing see-through tops that showed off her black bra underneath. Miley made a trip to the grocery store in a semi-transparent gray shirt earlier in the day, but switched to a sheer black top for her night out on the town with fellow Disney starlet, 18-year-old Demi Lovato. I think I speak for all of America when I say: “Miley, you’re 17 years old! Cover up!”

Mad Men Recap: Finally, The Episode Where We Get to See Don Draper Naked

17 August 2010 8:33 AM, PDT | BestWeekEver | See recent BestWeekEver news »

This is a recap for the fourth episode of Season 4 of Mad Men starring Jon Hamm, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery, January Jones, and a slew of other talented actors, on an episode called “The Rejected.” And here if your For Your Consideration Recap: Best Mad Men Opening Shot Ever Whoo, y’all (fanning myself with comically oversized geisha fan), nudity on Mad Men? Is Jon Hamm going to get so drunk he accidentally forgets his pants at a Pond’s Cold Cream meeting? Or will this be like on NYPD Blue, when everyone stayed up late to see some primetime, network television nakedness, only to be slapped across the face with an image of Sipowicz‘s bare ass? We shall masturbate and see. Best Cancer Reveal Oh, look, Anna wrote!! Can someone make out this handwriting? I swear, I wish she’d stop writing her letters on Ms Paint. It’s disrespectful. »

'The Bachelorette' Final Two: Are You Team Chris or Team Roberto?

27 July 2010 10:19 AM, PDT | buddytv.com | See recent BuddyTV news »

The time has come. She's traveled the world with them. She's met their parents. She's even shared the closed-door "Fantasy Suites" with them. Now Ali's Bachelorette journey must come to a close, and she must choose between her final two guys: Chris or Roberto? Roberto or Chris? Or, as is a popular spoiler opinion this season, neither?

We've all got our theories about which guy Ali will choose, but our question at hand here is which guy Should she choose? In other words: If you were Ali, who would you choose?

Much like the ever divisive "Team Edward vs. Team Jacob" Twilight debates, I expect that for every die-hard Chris or devoted Roberto fan, there are a handful of you who would love to chicken out and proclaim, "Can't I just choose both?"

Hahaha--no. As Dumbledore said in a totally relevant (or, at least, just as realistic) Harry Potter situation, »

Lourdes Leon Has Braces – And Flirts! It’s Amazing She’s Such A Normal Teen With Madonna As Her Mom!

9 April 2010 5:28 PM, PDT | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

Can you imagine Madonna being this normal at thirteen?

For being the kid of a musical icon, Lourdes “Lola” Leon is an amazingly normal kid! While visiting the Namitete Centre School at Mphandula near Malawai with mom Madonna and adopted sister Mercy James on April 8, the mini “Material Girl” showed that she’s just your average teenager!

The 13-year-old rock royalty has braces (like your typical awkward teen) And somehow found a cute boy to flirt with. Score! Our guess? Mom Madge did the same thing at Her age…and she’d be proud to see your skills, Lourdes.

You know what they say, after all…like mother, like daughter!

In all likelihood, you're not going to encounter too many fire-breathing winged beasts in your life — I would hope not, anyway — but in case you do, DreamWorks' latest 3-D animated feature should teach you a couple of tricks on how to tame such a mythical creature.

But if you have plans that prevent you from heading to the local cinema in the near future, never fear — there are plenty of other films that have already laid out a few lessons on how to train your pet dragon, or at least how to avoid getting killed by one!

After the jump, check out some of the lessons we've learned from other cinematic dragons.

In The Beginning, Cary Granat and Paramount United to 3D-up the Book of Genesis

Paramount Pictures and former Walden Media co-founder Cary Granat will attempt to literally bring audiences closer to God by creating In the Beginning, a 3D adaptation of the Book of Genesis.  Deadline reports that John Fusco (Hidalgo) has written a script to be directed by David Cunningham about the Judeo-Christian creation story.  The $30 million film hopes to attract the faith-n-family crowd that made The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe such a success.

In the Beginning will most likely eclipse Beowulf’s record for “Most Time Spent in a 3D Movie Trying to Cover up a Protagonist’s junk. »
