Grier Wants Berry For Planned Biopic

Iconic actress Pam Grier is reportedly eyeing Halle Berry to take her life story to the big screen.

A movie based on the Foxy Brown star's 2010 autobiography Foxy: My Life in Three Acts is currently in the works and the actress appears to have her leading lady picked out, according to Indiewire.com's Shadow and Act blog.

Writer/producer Eunetta Boone has been appointed to adapt the memoir into a screenplay. »

Essence magazine has named the Golden Globe winner and Oscar nominee one of five women who will be honored at its 5th annual Black Women in Hollywood luncheon on Feb. 23.
