Iconic actress Pam Grier is reportedly eyeing Halle Berry to take her life story to the big screen.
A movie based on the Foxy Brown star's 2010 autobiography Foxy: My Life in Three Acts is currently in the works and the actress appears to have her leading lady picked out, according to Indiewire.com's Shadow and Act blog.
Writer/producer Eunetta Boone has been appointed to adapt the memoir into a screenplay. »

As a major star of the 1970s Blaxploitation movement, Grier forged a hard to tread path through the industry, facing sexism, racism, and exploitation along the way. Published in 2010, Foxy recounts not only her rise to fame with flicks like Coffy and Foxy Brown, but also explores her relationships with Richard Pryor, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Freddie Prinze Sr., as well as her comeback and ongoing cancer battle. The accolades and honors just keep rolling in for Octavia Spencer. Essence magazine has named the Golden Globe winner and Oscar nominee one of five women who will be honored at its 5th annual Black Women in Hollywood luncheon on Feb. 23. While Spencer will receive the Breakthrough Award for her role in The Help, other honorees include Pam Grier (Foxy Brown) for the Legend Award, Shonda Rhimes (Grey’s Anatomy) for the Visionary Award, Kerry Washington (Scandal, Rhimes’ upcoming show) for the Vanguard Award, and Paula Patton (Jumping the Broom) for the Shining Star award.
