Pasto Rasto's 'Why?': DC's Batman/Superman Film

28 August 2013 5:37 AM, PDT | | See recent ComicBookMovie news »

'Batman/Superman' is one of the most anticipated films fro 2015. And before there is even a trailer or a production still there is sooooo much hate for it. It seems people do not like having Ben Affleck or 'Batfleck' being apart of the project as one of the leads. They've even gone so far as to release petitions telling the president to "Stop the chaos!!!" Why are they so upset? Well, I can see why hardcore fans are soooo upset, but to make a petition? I don't even understand why they would do that. To honestly think that 'Bafleck' was wayyyy more important than the things going on in Syria, or even around the's confusing. And just because Ben Affleck(Batfleck) is being cast as 'The Big B' does not at all mean the film is going to crap. For pete's sake we have not even seen a »

Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert show their support for Boston from New York

17 April 2013 4:50 PM, PDT | Pop2it | See recent Pop2it news »

Boston and New York are cities that have been known to feud for years, but Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, both of whom have their shows based out of New York, put those petty differences aside to send their love and support for those affected by the attack at the Boston Marathon.

Since both late night talk show hosts were off on Monday, they spoke about the accident during their Tuesday episodes. Below is the transcript from Stewart's opening.

"Once again, having to start under horrific events here in this country. I really hate the fact that I can cross-reference my thoughts to so many other events that have occurred over the years of a similar ilk, so I'm not going to. I'm just going to say this to Boston: Thank you. Thank you for once again, in the face of gross inhumanity, inspiring and solidifying my belief in humanity »

Video: Stephen Colbert Dedicates Monologue to the Boston Marathon Bombings

17 April 2013 9:03 AM, PDT | TVGuide - Breaking News | See recent TVGuide - Breaking News news »

Stephen Colbert delivered a meaningful, but humorous monologue about Monday's Boston Marathon bombings at the start of the Tuesday night edition of Colbert Report.

"Whoever did this obviously did not know sh-- about the people of Boston," he began. "'Cause nothing these terrorists do is gonna shake them. For Pete's sake, Boston was founded by the pilgrims, a people so tough they had to buckle their goddamn hats on!"

Barbra Streisand, funniest when she's being serious

3 March 2013 10:00 PM, PST | The Guardian - Film News | See recent The Guardian - Film News news »

In The Guilt Trip, Barbra Streisand is intent on rediscovering her comic roots. John Patterson wishes she would stick to straight movies

Like most people of a sane and well-adjusted disposition, I find the prospect of a couple of hours stuck in a car with Barbra Streisand to be terrifying, even if her company is adulterated by the presence of likably shouty leading man Seth Rogen. That's an hour-and-a-half for me, the viewer, eight days of narrative time for Rogen and la Bar as nervous son and interfering mother, and three months of real time on set for both of them. Sounds like I got off lightly.

Streisand has been taking it easy the last decade or so. Since 2004 she has only appeared in two Fockers sequels (in which she was perfectly cast), and in the 1990s she only made two movies, both of which she directed and both of »
