Plot:

Three jailed convicts Himmat (Sunil Dutt), his brother Ajit (Ranjeet), and Dilawar Khan (Danny Denzongpa) break out of prison and take over the household of Editor Ashok Rai (Raaj Kumar). Held hostage against their will are Ashok Rai, his wife Deepa Rai (Mala Sinha), son, Rajoo (Master Alankar) and gorgeous sister Naina (Parveen Babi). The convicts will continue to hold the family hostage until their associate, Kamini (Sonia Sahni) contacts them in person. The police investigation into their escape is being coordinated by Inspector R.D. Wadekar (Ramesh Deo), who have absolutely no clue of the whereabouts of the convicts.
