Amitabh Bachchan in the role of James Stewart and Moushumi Chtterjee in the Doris Day role. The movie was the first directorial effort of the late Mukul Anand who would later make Mahasangram, Hum, Agneepath, Khuda Gawah, Dus and many more movies.
