Italy, in the 1940's. A student is falling in love with an older widow. Their passion is strong but different political opinions and the society raise a chaos of feelings.

Maurizio Fiori alias Antonio is acts brilliantly between hope, disappointment and courage.

Amore amaro is an erotic movie, sends a political message and keeps its secret till the end.
