Zero Mostel plays a cruel Mexican landowner who is hated by the entire town for a variety of reasons. The town plots against him to free a young man from prison.Zero is the centerpiece of this mostly unknown comedy and he spends the film behind a big fake mustache, but he still has his trademark stare to carry his comedic gestures. Not the best film of his career but fun if you're a Zero fan.
