The most gripping portrayal of Adolf Hitler ever.
8 December 1998 | by (Canyon Lake, TX) – See all my reviews

Alec Guinness, most notably known as Obi Wan Kenobi, delivers a stunning performance as the Third Reich's Fuhrer. Relegated to a concrete bunker in once beautiful Berlin, Hitler resorts to ruling a faux empire. Fascinated with models of victorious post war Germany, Hitler lives in painful delusion. When he is coherent, Hitler plans grand strategies with armies that no longer exist.

It is a fascinating look into the warlord's inner circle whilst all is lost.
