  Joe : I think so.

  Ginger : I still have faith in my fellow human beings, and so far I'm right.

  Joe : Well, so far.

  Ginger : It's really weird, though. People are more afraid of love than hate. And love is so much stronger than hate or violence. Just a lot harder to come by.

• Joe : Charlie, why didn't you give me a call and let me know you were coming?

  Charlie : What, waste good money on phone calls when I could spend it on booze and women? You gotta be kidding!

• Charlie : You're still my best friend.

  Joe : No, I'm not. I'm your only friend.

  Charlie : Yeah, but think how lucky we are. At least we've got one friend.
