Almost nothing of the buildings at Swansea in the "worker's section" used in the movie remains. Although the production used explosions and live ammunition, the buildings largely remained intact until the year 2000. I was a 12 yr old boy enjoying life in Lake Havasu when "Wolves" came to town. We watched them filming for a couple of weeks and even had an opportunity to work as extras in the supermarket robbery scene. (Warning....Movie detail ahead) That's my mother and I at the checkout stand when the robber comes over and takes the money from the cashier. This film must have been released somewhat late, (1973) because I remember the filming taking place in 1970 or 71. I still haven't seen the whole film, and I would love to get a copy for my collection. My family and I have gone on to work as extras in several other productions as well. We really enjoy the excitement. "Day of the Wolves" was my first movie experience, and I loved it! =:]
