Macho Callahan breaks out of a Confederate military prison, intent on revenge against the man responsible for his imprisonment. Unfortunately, along the way, he kills another man and that man's vengeful widow tracks down Callahan.
Federico, (Ugo), hides from his past by creating a false world of wealth and destroys all that is traditional. All of this to despise and oppose his Left Wing dad. A very poetic piece of political observation on how the modern person neglects what their forefathers fought for. Ugo in top form, playing both father and son!
