Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

A woman is shown being raped; brief full frontal nudity is shown.

Bare breasts and bottoms are shown in some instances throughout the film, although nudity is not prolonged nor too frequent.

Sexual violence is briefly depicted, as a woman is briefly raped in the beginning of the film.

A man is graphically stabbed in a dream sequence, accompanied with copious blood spurting from the wound. Injury detail is briefly seen. This is the most graphic scene in the film.

Several people are shot with little bloodshed.

A man shoots a coffin with two naked women in it; blood is seen pouring out of the coffin. We see the bloody dead bodies as the lid of the tomb is lifted, but there is no gore or graphic injury detail present.

While violent at parts, the film presents a gothic and mildly erotic atmosphere rather than a tone of intensity or pure terror. While comparatively tame to recent horror films, the nudity and bloody violence present in the film would still warrant a sterner warning of caution for some viewers.

Suggested Revised MPAA Rating: R for some bloody violence, a rape, and nudity.
