Orsini and Gemmas collaboration on CORBARI gave us one of the greatest films ever, this is nowhere near, but is boldly epic in its vision,and deep down it seems that a great film is trying to break out. Gemma is as good as ever and Senta Berger is surprisingly good, but it is Nicoletta Machiavelli who steals the acting honours in a movie that could have been so much more.
