I wanted to see this movie because i believe the novel is good but from the beginning the movie was a disappointment. First I would insist on the characters that are very badly chosen. Most of them just don't know how to act!Maybe it's the fault of the lack of experience of the Romanian film makers of those times,or maybe they made the movie in a big hurry. It is obvious that even after the movie was shot the scenes weren't put together well. The most important scenes that capture your attention in the novel aren't underlined in this movie.Even the directing was awful.I believe that every scene was shot once, otherwise I can't explain the presence of so many spoilers! I'm sorry to say that I've wasted my time watching this one.
