Sex & Nudity

8/10

A character is forced to strip at gunpoint after which another character pulls his underwear down and his bare buttocks are exposed in several shots. The man then proceeds to anally rape him while forcing him to mimic the sounds of a pig. This scene is very infamous and shocked many viewers.

The rapists say very vulgar things and the other one quotes that: "He has a pretty mouth," to Ed Gentry.

Violence & Gore

8/10

A man accidentally hits his own thumb with a hammer and screams out in pain.

A live fish is speared with an arrow, it is seen impaled and writhing around.

Ed is tied to a tree by a belt around his neck.

A man cuts Ed's chest with a large hunting knife, for some reason the wound doesn't bleed but does leave a red scar.

Lewis shoots a rapist with an arrow and is shown slowly dying, the rapist is seen with part of the arrow sticking out of his chest while the other part is seen sticking out of his back.

The rapist's dead body is seen constantly over the next few minutes, blood is seen to be dribbling out of his nose and mouth.

The arrow is pulled out of the body.

Drew is shot, you faintly see it, but Lewis says it over and over again.

Lewis injures his leg while being dragged down rapids. When he gets out of the water, part of the bone of his leg is seen protruding out through the injury site.

Ed lands awkwardly and is impaled on one of his own arrows; the arrow is seen protruding from his side.

Ed pulls the arrow out.

A man is seen staggering around with an arrow through his neck before he dies.

Drew's dead body is seen with a dislocated arm wrapped around the back of his head.

Profanity

3/10

5 F-words, 4 scatological words, 10 religious profanities, 4 other profane words

The rapists quote sexual, but very vulgar things.

5/10

Ed is seen smoking a pipe at the start.

Lewis is seen lighting and smoking a cigar.

3 of the 4 men are shown drinking alcohol around the campfire.

10/10

Bobby is raped in the film's most intense scene. While not that graphic, the scene is still very disturbing as it displays the victim being chased, held down and taunted during the assault. And after all that, the anal rape begins, with disturbing squealing from the rapist and the victim.

Some of the violence can be suspenseful and is almost always bloody.

The dream that Ed sees is disturbing and weird.

The rapists are creepy and unsettling.
