Continuity 

The red convertible driven by Marvin Lucas (Peter Boyle) has three different license plates during the opening credits: "677 EIY", "185 ENV", and "772 DYD". All are from the 1972 era in California.

When McKay has his first "press the flesh" event at the factory, the same woman with short blonde hair and a brown coat passes him walking out the gate twice.

On election night, the television announcer says they will be shifting to their correspondent at McKay headquarters at the "Regency Hyatt" (sic) hotel, but later when McKay is escaping the crowds in the hotel, he rides in an elevator with a busboy. The busboy's uniform has the name 'Fairmont" on the front.
