Trivia

The Sixth Sense was edited from 60 minute episodes to 30 minutes and added to Night Gallery for syndication. Because the Sixth Sense essentially ran for one season it had too few episodes to sell to local stations in syndication, as those stations want a series with a number of episodes to keep their audience from tiring from constant repeats. By combining the two shows into one it was much easier to sell the combined package of both shows. See more »

A show ahead of its' time.
28 September 2000 | by (Iowa, USA) – See all my reviews

Not everyone has forgotten this short lived tv show. I remember it as very suspenseful and thought provoking. I was a junior in high school when it appeared and my classmates and I thought it was great. Unfortunately, not enough of the country felt likewise and it was cancelled quickly. However, it was intriguing to think that esp was possible. The show was well done but ahead of its' time. Today it would go over very well, as did the movie of the same name.
