Here's an early exploitation film from notorious Swiss sleaze director/producer Erwin Dietrich. It's a series of vignettes illustrating the exciting sex lives of young jet-setting airline stewardesses. It kind of borrows the episodic narrative structure of the German "schulmadchen and hausfrau report" films while anticipating the exotic sexual-travelogue appeal of the later French-Italian "Emmanuelle" series with scenes (apparently) shot on location in Rome, Munich, Copenhagen, and New York City. As far as "real" movies go it's not very good, but as far as softcore sex flicks go, it's top drawer.
The actresses are all genuinely pretty, especially Ingrid Steeger, featured in the first vignette, who was a minor sex symbol of the era in Germany (this was recently released on DVD as part of the "Ingrid Steeger Collection") . Of course, this portrait of the glamorous life of gorgeous stewardesses is pretty dated--flying is FAR less sexy and glamorous today (and a movie like this about the sex lives of the ill-tempered battle-axes that work as "flight attendants" on airlines today would probably more appropriately fit into the horror genre). This movie is actually pretty ridiculous, but it does nevertheless have a bit of nostalgic early 1970's appeal to go along with its very ample sex appeal. Recommended.
