NOTE: Sequel to "Taste the Blood of Dracula" (1968).

A village girl is found dead, and her father knows the cause--Dracula [Christopher Lee] is back. He sends all the village women to the church so the men can storm the castle and torch it. On returning to the church, however, they find that a vampire bat has ripped up the faces and bodies of all the women. Meanwhile, playboy Paul Carlson [Christopher Matthews] escapes from the father of one of his conquests and winds up at Castle Dracula looking for overnight lodging; instead, he is seduced, imprisoned, plundered, and impaled. Paul's brother Simon [Dennis Waterman] and friend Sarah Framsen [Jenny Hanely] come looking for him; they are almost gotten by Dracula but Dracula's servant Klove [Patrick Troughton], enamoured of Sarah from a picture left by Paul, helps them escape. The servant is punished (whipped and burned) by Dracula. Simon and Sarah escape to the nearby village where they seek help. Sarah stays with the local priest while Simon returns to the castle and bribes the servant to help him. Unfortunately, he gets helped into Dracula's crypt where he finds his brother. Meanwhile, that pesky bat has clawed/bitten the priest to death and Sarah has fled--back to the castle! The bat rips off her cross, and Dracula attempts to have his way with her. Simon somehow gets out of the crypt and confronts Dracula on a rampart. A storm, which has been raging unfulfilled for the past 20 minutes, strikes a lightning bolt at Dracula (who is holding an iron spike with which to impale Simon). Dracula is burned up.
