A government agent, out to destroy a crime ring, finds himself in the middle of a mob war.
I was really disappointed by this one. I expected much more from Joseph Sargent, the director of "Taking of Pelham 123".
The improbable account of an undercover agent - Christopher George - who has to infiltrate a gang in order to put it into fight with another one. With predictable results. A flat yarn, that you can watch while pressing fast forward button. You have already seen that before. Nothing new. Jack Warden is wasted. So many scenes, such as when George
- the undercover cop - shots a golf ball in the air. Who could believe
it?And Joel Grey in a mobster character is as credible as John Wayne in a monk.
Look for young Keith Carradine. But you can miss it without problem.
