Good Monster Mash-up Film - Fun!, 18 January 2016
Author: Peppermint Twisted (Rainey-Dawn) from United States

This is fun film that pays homage to Lon Chaney Jr as The Wolf Man (all of the films) and all of the Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde classics. Doctor Jekyll y el Hombre Lobo may not be as good as the classic monsters but it is a good monster mash-up film in it's own right - fun to watch! I can clearly see Paul Naschy's wolf man/werewolf paying respects to the late great Lon Chaney Jr and the make-up artist expertise of Jack Pierce. While Naschy's wolf man is not quite as good - it still gets the point across and is creepy looking in it's own way. The same can be said for the role of Hyde.

This is one of those films that lovers of the classic monster films should enjoy - even if they don't enjoy it quite as much. I found this a good film and I'm proud to own it in my collection.
