- There are a few different cuts / versions of this film available. 1. A severely cut 72 min version that first appeared on a Family Value dollar disc and now on the PURE TERROR multi disc set. 2. Spanish R2 DVD release of the covered Spanish version with English subtitles. This one looks terrific but lacks the 4 nude scenes found in the English dubbed export version. 3. Only source for the uncut English dub is Sinister Cinema, taken from a faded full screen print. Not too pretty but it is currently as good as it gets.
- "Dr. Jekyll y el Hombre Lobo" was released in three different versions. The Spanish Version, the US Version, and the German Version. The Spanish Version has no nudity, the US Version alternate scenes of nudity, and the German Version some additional sequences with nudity. As far as we know, only the German Version includes all of the nude scenes. The German Version included on the Motion Picture DVD is a combination of the Spanish Version and the nude scenes from the German VHS. The difference in quality is very noticeable. Still, this DVD is the most complete in terms of nudity. The German VHS, however, still misses out on a few scenes because of a bad master tape. The scenes that were not included on the VHS were taken from the Spanish Version, along with its soundtrack. If you pick the Spanish Version, the "soft" scenes are dubbed with the soundtrack from the "nude" scenes, thus image and sound do not always fit together.
