A Panel on Screenwriting: Features vs. TV Series

There has been an explosion in TV series over the last five years which has opened more opportunities worldwide to writers, directors and producers than feature film writing.

Paul Federbush, International Director, Feature Film Programs for Sundance Institute moderated a riveting panel of such TV/ feature writers as D.V. DeVincentes who wrote three episodes of the limited TV series (and exec produced five), “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” which won two Primetime Emmys and the feature “High Fidelity”; Erik Jendresen who won a Primetime Emmy for the miniseries “Band of Brothers” and is now working on a limited series which may go from four segments to eight; Naomi Foner who created “The Electric Company” aimed at children ages 7 to 10 to teach basic reading concepts to its young viewers.
