A good time waster

A movie adapted from a James Hadley Chase novel, written in 1965. As many Chase's novels, it takes place in Paradise City, Florida - Cannes, France for the movie - and tells the story of a bunch of hoods who want to steal the safes' content of the city bank. In that purpose, they get rid off the stepdaughter of the director's bank, a young girl the manager did not really know, and replace her by another young woman, an accomplice - Jane Birkin. The girl will have to get a job in the bank, she will be in charge of the safe deposit room, and help rich customers to have access to their safes. Her "job" consisting in making prints of the safe keys with wax...

A thrilling suspense with a good surprise. One of the bad guys, the "brain", is no one else than Michael Dunn, the dwarf, actor in Wild Wild West TV series, the mighty Miguelito Loveless, long time James West - Robert Conrad- enemy.

The end is confusing, but why not...
