The sorrow of war...
15 May 2000 | by (Paris, France) – See all my reviews

A long time ago a senior officer, survivor of Dien Bien Phu and the Viet Minh camps told me he cried when he watched this movie.

If I didn't it's probably because I had already lost all tears, but it certainly brought back memories... Viet Nam is there, bare. By the way, Hoa Binh besides being a town in the North also means democracy.
