Nancy Smith was the attractive young daughter of the President of the United States. She met a young veterinarian from Center City, Iowa (near Des Moines) and they fell in love. Unfortunately, being under constant surveillance by the two agents of the secret service (Turner & Rodriguez) that did nothing to promote the romance at this point and Nancy's Chaperone, Abigail and Adam's Uncle Everett also seemed constantly to get in the way, not to mention the press. The President was never shown on camera, but his aides were and his voice was heard on occasion. On November 5, 1970, The Couple got married at Adam's House. Written by

This series told the story of the daughter of the President of the United States and was counter-programming to the series 'The Governor & J.J. (1969)' which was about the daughter of the governor of a fictional Midwestern state. See more »
I recall this show. It was as sappy and syrup laced as a TV show could get. Most of the dialog of the few shows that aired consisted of Nancy played by Renne Jarrett and her love interest Adam looking at each other with goo goo eyes and saying `Oh Adam, Oh Nancy' Oh brother! the Nielson ratings ended this administration none too soon.
