Digital Spy presents Friends Week - seven days of special features celebrating 20 years of the Us sitcom that became a cultural phenomenon.

We're celebrating the anniversary of Friends all week, and outside of the Big Six, one of the show's most prolific characters has to be Gunther. The barista with hair "brighter than the sun", as Rachel put it, won a place in our hearts with his awkward shuffles and unrequited love for Miss Green.

We got the man behind the hair - James Michael Tyler - on the phone for a natter about what it was actually like being in Friends, a shock coffee-related revelation, his best Gunther moments and where he thinks the Central Perk icon is now...

Rosie O’Donnell Returns to ‘The View’ Healthier and Happier

The last person who thought Rosie O’Donnell would ever return to “The View” was Rosie O’Donnell. In the spring of 2007, the talk show host opted not to renew her contract with the gabfest created by Barbara Walters, even though her controversial opinions gave the program a ratings boost. Then, shortly before her departure, she got caught in a spectacular fight on live TV with conservative co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck that started over the Iraq War, but quickly turned personal — and went viral.

“The day it happened, I was definitely crying,” O’Donnell recalls. “I got my stuff and walked out.” She phoned her longtime publicist, Cindi Berger, telling her: “‘I’m never going back. You have to call and tell them. Call the lawyer. No matter what they say, I will not go back.”

Unsettling New One-Sheet for The Taking of Deborah Logan

There's something to be said about a simple one-sheet that manages to send a bit of a shiver down the old spine. This first piece of artwork for The Taking of Deborah Logan manages to do that and then some!

Adam Robitel directs the film, which he wrote with Gavin Heffernan. Jill Larson, Anne Ramsay, Michelle Ang, and Ryan Cutrona star. Millennium Entertainment is releasing the flick on VOD and DVD this fall; stay tuned for an exact date.

Yaya DaCosta to star in jazz biopic Bolden

Yaya DaCosta has joined the cast of jazz biopic Bolden.

The actress and model will star alongside Ian McShane, True Blood's Nelsan Ellis and Downton Abbey's Gary Carr, Variety reports.

The focus of the biopic, Buddy Bolden, was a cornet player from New Orleans who was a pioneer of ragtime music.

Perhaps best known for competing on cycle three of America's Next Top Model, DaCosta recently landed the role of Whitney Houston in the controversial Lifetime TV movie I Will Always Love You: The Whitney Houston Story.

DaCosta has also appeared in All My Children, Ugly Betty and House.

Dan Pritzker has written the screenplay for Bolden and will direct.

The first round of filming was completed back in 2010, but new scenes will begin filming on September 19. »

The Paley Center to Celebrate Lgbt Equality at Gala Benefit

The Paley Center for Media will be celebrating the role television has played in Lgbt equality at its annual Los Angeles gala on Nov. 12. The fundraising evening will recognize the impact the medium has had on Lgbt equality and celebrate the work put in by studios, producers, series and talent to change awareness, understanding and perception of the issue.

Charles Keating, who won a 1996 Daytime Emmy for his work as a villain on Another World, has died at the age of 72 in Weston, Conn. No cause of death has been announced.

Keating appeared in other soap operas, including Port Charles and All My Children, and had numerous TV and film credits that included The Thomas Crown AffairBrideshead Revisited, Awakenings and The Bodyguard.

Keating also was nominated three other times in the 1990s for Daytime Emmys for his work on Another World before his win, and for a Tony Award as best actor for his role in the 1986 revival of Joe Orton’s Loot. He appeared in a number of other TV shows, TV movies and miniseries, including Alias, Xena: Warrior Princess, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Miami Vice, Sex and the City and Hotel.

Daytime Emmy winner Charles Keating, who played the villainous Carl Hutchins on NBC soap “Another World” from 1991-99, has died. He was 72.

Alice Coppola, who played Lorna on “Another World,” tweeted about Keating’s death on Saturday, calling him her “very first acting teacher.”

Cause of death has yet to be revealed.

The classically trained actor received four Daytime Emmy nominations and nabbed the gold in 1996 for outstanding lead actor for his work as Hutchins. Keating was also known in the daytime world for stints on “All My Children” and “As the World Turns.”

Charles Keating passed away at 72.

British actor Charles Keating has died at the age of 72.

The Wrap reports that Keating had been battling cancer.

Keating's acting credits date back to 1956 in As The World Turns. He was known for his acting in Soap Operas starring in All My Children, Port Charles and Another World. His role as Carl Hutchins on Another World won him an Emmy in 1996.

In addition to soap operas, Keating had roles in film. He was in The Bodyguard, The Thomas Crown Affair and Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo.

Keating is survived by his wife and two sons.

Former Another World Costar Alicia Coppola paid tribute to Keating on Twitter.
