Alright fellas, it's like this. It's either we buy everyone leather jackets... or, uhm, we shoot the movie.
Whilst watching an unknown biker flick called Sinners Blood, it occurs to me exactly how glad I am that I have terrible taste in cinema. Not to say Sinners Blood is a terrible movie, or at least it's not compared to some I've seen. As someone who has no use for big-budget Hollywood epics, and as someone who has a thing for B-cinema, it's stuff like this that makes B-movie collecting so much fun. Not so much half-ass biker flicks. I mean, the forgotten ones, or the ones that were simply never heard of. The ones that were never released on DVD. Mainly because of how inept, low-budget and confusing they were. And in this movies case, those three qualities pretty much replace anything that might have resembled a storyline. It's just a bunch of non-actors attempting to play rough, tough, mean motor-scooters... And failing miserably. No real point. No rhyme, no reason. Just a bunch of average-looking bikers (led by the legendary Bluto Dangerfield), hanging out in a small town, doing sleazy biker stuff, such as dropping acid, bullying the local fuzz, fighting amongst themselves, killings priests, raping the locals. You know, Biker stuff. Like I said before, it ain't bad compared to some that are out there, but I would still recommend something a little more worthwhile, like Werewolves On Wheels. I suppose Sinners Blood doesn't deserve a DVD release any more than any other super-obscure, 60's Biker flick, because it sure ain't nothing special, but then again, it is awkward and weird, and that means just about everything in Exploitation Country. And if you just can't get enough Biker movies, and have no standards, like me, or are just too stupid to tell whether or not you're being properly entertained, you might not hate Sinners Blood... Or, you probably will. What the hell do I know?
