Sonny's "16mm home movie camera" is actually an 8mm home movie camera. You can tell by the size, shape, lens and model name. 16mm weren't as common for home movies as an 8mm camera was in 1970 so it would be difficult for an amateur filmmaker to obtain one without a lot of money. See more
