Messing recreates the funny lady's famous "Hello Dolly" routine from Hello Dolly!, wearing a copycat red gown outfit, a Channing wig and replicas of the stage and screen great's famous eyelashes for the song-and-dance skit with her castmates.
The actress says, "It was amazing. The dress is a replica of the one Carol Channing wore on Broadway. It's spectacular.
"And you would be amazed at how many options there are for eyelashes... We had pictures of Carol all over the place. We were like, 'Ok, how close can we make it?'" »
Writer-director Andrew Stanton got in on the ground floor at animation studio Pixar and apparently never looked back.
