Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

PG for Western Action and Violence, Sensuality, and Language

The two outlaws hide out in a whorehouse but nothing rude seen or shown - implied that Butch Cassidy is about to sleep with one until he is disturbed by posse.

One scene ends as Sundance stumbles out, drunk, saying he is going to find "a woman". In the next scene, a woman arrives at her house and enters. She appears alone in the dark, and begins to prepare for bed, when she is surprised by Sundance. He points a gun at her and orders her to keep undressing, which she does. Nothing vital is shown, but the curves of her naked body show through her open gown. It turns out that she is romantically involved with him and he was just joking with the gun.

Violence & Gore

A very brief fist fight between Butch Cassidy and another character.

Two gunfights in which people are shot, wounded and visibly wounded but nothing gory.

There is a large explosion and a few people are close to it--one man gets a bloody arm.

A man gets shot off his horse. We see tiny bit of blood on his chest.

Profanity

One long, drawn out "s**t" as Butch and Sundance jump off a cliff.

Around 10 uses of "d**n" and 15-20 of "h**l."

A few uses of "b*****d."

A couple uses of "Jesus."

The two outlaws are shown drinking in a saloon but thats about it.
