On the episode "Identified", when the alien is being taken down the corridor to the operating room, his eyes are open. Then, while on the operating table, the doctor removes the white plastic protective shells covering them.
Michael Billington has two very different hairstyles over the course of the show, however in "The Dalotek Affair", they clash in the same episode - he begins it with his first look, a receding hairline and huge sideburns, then briefly appears on the TV screen talking to Straker (around the 41 minute mark) under the wig (which he would wear in later episodes) only to revert to the original look seconds later.
