Musical guests are Kenny Ball and His Jazzmen, The Settlers and Fank Ifield. Eric and Ernie both get new opening partners. Ernie has writer's block and Eric makes the suggestion that he should write a musical.

The musical guests are Kenny Ball and His Jazzmen, Design and Tom Jones. Eric brings in Ernie's family tree. Eric becomes a musical conductor. Ernie and Eric start writing their memoirs.

The musical guests are Los Zafiros, Glenda Jackson, André Previn and Shirley Bassey. A variety of sketches finishes with Ernie's latest play called 'The Adventures of Robin Hood' starring Francis Matthews as King RIchard.
