So So Supermarionation Pic
2 October 2014 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

First off, anyone expecting a fantastic new piece of hardware will be disappointed that Thunderbirds 6 is actually a vintage Tiger Moth airplane. Maybe naming the film after an old airplane wasn't such a good idea. Once again the Tracy family is called into action when a new aircraft becomes the target of terrorists. The special supermarionation effects have been upgraded for this second Thunderbirds film to reflect advances seen in the Thunderbirds sister series Captain Scarlet and the Mysterions and the production may be enjoyed by undemanding kids and hardcore fans but it was another box office misfire that suffered from tepid reviews. It would be three and a half decades before another Thunderbirds adventure played in cinemas.
