Yoshida around Europe...
4 March 2014 | by (Portugal) – See all my reviews

Really liked it. I think I'm in love with Yoshida films. Once again the cinematography is gorgeous and the dialogues are very well written, they gave unique personalities to the main characters and I just kept wondering about the convictions of each one the whole time, just like in the previous works that I've seen from this director. And I just saw in the interview with Yoshida that most of it was written as they were filming and looking for new locations and that they were based on them. Simply genius. The fact that part of this film took place where I live (Lisbon) and where I grew up (in the south of Portugal) was a plus for me as well.
