The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

Rated R for disturbing content including rape, nudity, and some violent images

A couple (the male and female lead) have sex. They take their clothes off (they are in their underwear). While we only see them kissing passionately for a few moments, it is obvious that they are having sex. Her breasts are shown in that scene. Later in the movie, a woman is shown topless, and from the rear.

Violence & Gore

We see a gory close-up of a dead woman surrounded by her own spattered blood--she had just jumped from the seventh floor of an apartment building in a hex-induced suicide. We see a similar shot of the corpse in a dream sequence.

Profanity

The word shit is used once. There are a few uses of the word bitch and Hell.

The characters drink wine, but not to excess.

The main character's husband serves her chocolate mousse that he knows his neighbour has drugged.

A number of scenes feature characters who smoke

There is a brief mention of marijuana towards the beginning of the film, and later on people are seen smoking at a party.

We see the bloody aftermath of a suicide by leap.

There is an unusual eerie feeling of humour and implied danger throughout the film

At the end, Rosemary realizes that she has been raped by the Devil and given birth to his son. The baby is never shown, but we can tell from the expression on Rosemary's face that it has a horrible appearance.
