Character error 

Although Pygar claims that the Great Tyrant put out his eyes, they are in fact quite visible; he wore a blindfold over them in the original comic.

When the Earth President greets Barbarella, he raises his left hand palm outward. Barbarella responds with her right hand palm outward. However, when the President farewells her, he does so with his right hand palm outward, and Barbarella responds with her right hand palm outward as well.

Continuity 

When Barbarella first has to go down for a crash landing, she puts her right arm up to her head. However in the next shot her left arm is up to her head.

After Barbarella faints from being attacked by the "tooth dolls," several wounds on her legs and arms are visible. When she gets into the iceboat immediately after being rescued, the wounds have disappeared.

Crew or equipment visible 

During the opening sequence you can see the reflection of a camera on the front of her helmet, as her face is being revealed.

When Barbarella exits her spaceship and almost gets hit by a falling piece of debris, a crew member's hand can be seen for a split second pushing the rock off the top of the ship.

Plot holes 

When Mark Hand suggests having sex to Barbarella, she expects him to have "pills" for it. Later she is shocked that Dildano has them because only Earth People know of them. Neither man is from Earth.

Revealing mistakes 

In the beginning, Barbarella is in zero gravity, yet her hair is falling down toward the ground.

When Barbarella is flying around in her spaceship in the opening credits, in a close-up as she removes her gloves you can see her reflection in the Plexiglas she was lying on to give the illusion of floating.

When Barabarella and Pygar are being attacked by the leather guards in the labyrinth, Barbarella tells Pygar to shoot her gun. "To the right!" she calls out. Pygar, however, swivels left and shoots, hitting the guard dead on. Since Pygar is blind, he had only her instructions to go on.
