Excellent family movie -- but you have to understand Spanish

The story of two juvenile friends set in rural Argentina is on a par with the best of Disney products like 'Lassie' - or even better. It's great for little kids, their grandparents, and everyone in-between. There is human warmth, beautiful nature scenes, some engagement of one's tear glands, and an ending leaving the viewer feeling happy and satisfied.

I do hope some day to be able to purchase a fresh VHS version in NTSC format to replace the fading Beta tape we are watching at least once every year, one which I recorded off TV some 22/23 year
