An eccentric man and woman think they've seen a murder, but they're not sure it wasn't their wild imaginations. A wild concept makes for a funny and fascinating, if not always wholly coherent film, in which fantasy and reality gleefully comingle, making some unsubtle statements about both the sexual revolution and the emergent drug culture. Mr. Mastroianni and Ms. Welch are both affable charismatic kooks. Fun and not a little bizarre.
