Did You Know?
Trivia | Wile. E. Coyote's slingshot dragster is remarkably accurate, to the point where the brand and model of individual parts is identifiable- It was clearly based on a real drag car of the era. It has a Chrysler 'hemi' V8, a GMC 8-71 supercharger with a cartoonish-but-correct belt-driven pulley set-up, and a 'Moon' brand spun aluminium gas tank- All common parts for drag cars, that you can still see in use at any drag meet, over 50 years later. Goofs | Coyote lays down glue on the road. He falls from a tree, lands in the glue, and gets stuck. Roadrunner then drives a steamroller over him, flattening him. Roadrunner drives on, but even though he has flattened coyote into the glue, coyote is no longer stuck in the glue and walks off. See more » |
